This warmly evocative play traces the evolution of a seemingly ordinary married couple and uncovers the secrets that lie within the lifetime relationship. Viola is a small-town woman in Wisconsin and is trying to come to terms with her husband's mysterious death (was it an accident or suicide?) as well as her newly independent state, helped by an old school chum and a neighbor boy, whose cleanup of her basement launches the memory voyage. In this play, as in life, death leaves some questions unanswered.
